How to Make Windows 10 Look Like Windows7

Windows 10 is one of the best laptops or desktops we use. Using Windows 10, we will gradually realize that its output is much faster. Again, there are many who like the simplicity of Windows7, Especially when it comes to the Windows 7 Ultimate user interface.

Yes, that’s right, many (most of them) the new gen system doesn’t support the Old School rocker Windows 7 which is really sad. And even if you succeed to install Windows 7 on your new system somehow, you will either fail to get the driver or you will be left with miss critical functions.

Make Windows 10 Look & Act Windows 7:-

Changing the Start Menu:

Microsoft sort of brought the Start menu back in Windows 10, but it’s been given a big overhaul. If you truly want the Windows 7 Start menu back, install the free program changing the start menu. You can even download images of the Windows 7 Start OS and use that on the Taskbar for the Start menu. Not only is it more similar to Windows 7’s start menu, but it’s insanely customizable, so you can get the Start menu.

Changing the Windows Explorer to Act & Look Like Windows 7:-

There are a lot of changes in Windows 10’s File Explorer compared to Windows 7’s Windows Explorer. If you’re not happy with the changes, you can get the look and feel of Windows 7’s Windows Explorer back with a free tool called Old New Explorer, along with some tweaks to the settings and registry. The Old New Explorer works like a charm and can help you change the Windows 10 windows explorer and make it look like Windows 7. Also note that this is free software, so you can simply download and install the software on your Windows 10 system.

Adding Color to the Title Bar:-

In Windows 10, the title bar is white by default. Thanks, the latest version of Windows 10 lets you add some color to the title bars in Settings, lets you make your desktop look a bit more like Windows, just go to Settings> Personalization> Change Colors. You can read more about color settings here.

Taskbar Solution to Remove Cortana Box & Task View Button:-

The Windows 7 Start menu includes only one search box. In Windows 10, that search box was moved to the taskbar and integrated into Cortana, and the Task View button was added to the taskbar. Neither Cortana Task View was available in Windows Ether. So to easily remove the Cortana box and task view buttons using any software you need to right-click on the taskbar and then select or select “Show task view button”. You can here click.

Removing the Action Center:-

The Action Center is a new feature of Windows 10 that’s available by clicking the message bubble on the right side of the Taskbar. It’s handy for seeing all recent notifications you might have missed, and frankly, we think it’s worth keeping–it’s one of the more useful updates to Windows 10. But, if you really want to get rid of it, you can disable the Action Center by going to Settings > System > Notifications & Actions and clicking “Turn System Icons On or off”. From there you can turn Action Center off with a simple slider.

Disabling the Windows 10 Lock Screen:-

The lock screen is quite nice but it is a touchscreen-friendly feature it is not really necessary or particularly effective on the desktop. It can disable the lock screen if you are using any version of Windows 10. However, you can only disable the lock screen if you are using Windows 10 Enterprise as an annual update of Windows 10. So, if you use any other version of Windows 10, you are currently stuck with the lock screen.
